Join our community for a journey through the story of the early church in the book of Acts. For most of us church has become the sum of our experiences that we have had while we've been a part of it. But what if church could be redefined by the dream that God has for his people when they come together in His name? What might happen to our city and in our world if the church equaled a new variable that was defined by our lives lived on mission?

Transformations come only as we go the long way round, only as we're willing to walk a different, longer, more arduous, more inward, more prayerful route.

Some of us have glamorized faith. It is not for the faint of heart and for those looking for a quick mission trip to Mexico. It is a life. And if we don't live it we end up like the disciples at the end of John who settled to go back to fishing.

Priests in scripture represented healing and forgiveness to the people as they burnt offerings. This now begs the question, what is the role of a 21st century priest?

21st century Christianity finds itself in the 29th chapter of the book of Acts. Most people read until chapter 28 and never fully realize the invitation to continue the journey into the 29th chapter. For the next 5 weeks we will be looking at the different parts that make up our "being." From there we can better discern how to point those parts toward God that our lives truly find its purpose in the story of God.
