Muse Tonight! 7PM
Muse Theology: A Different Way of Seeing The World
On February 1st we will be inviting local Theologian/Professor Dr. Skip Moen to teach us about how to view the world through a biblical worldview.
We often hear that Christians are supposed to be different. We are told that Christians live a “transformed” life. But most of us don’t realize just what this means when it comes to politics, education, justice, government, business and social relationships. We think being a good Christian is like being a better person, but the Bible has a very different view of life and the world we live in. Nothing is the same. Once we see the differences between our culture and the biblical worldview, lots of common behaviors have to change. Don’t think it just about America. The foundations of our culture go back to the Greeks and have been with us for nearly 2500 years. But the biblical culture is 5000 years old and dramatically different than our usual assumptions. It’s time to really think about what it means to live in God’s kingdom.
Muse is a cultural and theological lecture series that brings in guest lecturers to teach us about an area of expertise that they have spent years and sometimes decades studying. Please join us on Monday, February 1st to dig deep!

Really enjoyed it! I was pretty sad I had to leave before it was all over, it totally caused me to re-evaluate some of my motivations and reasonings for things.
