Humanity is – for the most part – age obsessed.  We idolize the beauty of youth and hold infallible the idea that age equals wisdom.  As an intergenerational community, it’s our goal to raise people into the fullness of who they’ve been created to be regardless of their age.

Children are not relegated to the side in an attempt to keep them quiet or performed for in hopes of entertaining.  We recognize common stages of development and desire to help engage children where they are in interactive and relational ways, but these are starting places not limitations.  Just as Jesus valued the lives of children, we want to provide an atmosphere where children recognize and utilize their spiritual gifts to contribute to who we are as a people and to the Kingdom as a whole.

Students and adults engage side by side in their pursuit of God.  Status is an environment that values the voice and contribution of children, teenagers, college students, adults and the aged in everything we do.  Spiritual maturity is the pursuit, and fruit is the gauge.
